  • The Type A is a Male Adapter x Female NPT thread
  • Uses: To connect a male camlock adapter onto a male thread. Used to connect with a female coupler of the same size.
  • What it connects to: The camlock portion will connect to a Female Coupler. The threaded portion will connect to a Male NPT Thread
  • Installation: Thread the Female NPT portion of the adapter onto a Male NPT Threaded end. Then insert the Stainless Type A Adapter into a Female Cam Fitting and close the two cam arms.
  • Also known as a: Male Cam and Groove Adapter x Female NPT. Type A Stainless Steel Camlocks. Type A Male Cam Fittings
  • Sizes: These are made from Stainless Steel and are stocked in sizes 1/2" to 6".
